ATA Travel Privacy Overview
Last updated June 29, 2026.
What We Collect
ATA collects the information needed to operate direct booking, quote, inquiry, traveler verification, host onboarding, analytics, and MCP agent workflows. This may include contact details, stay search criteria, booking details, quote details, payment workflow status, public agent client metadata, and operational logs.
How We Use It
We use data to show availability, create quotes, process booking requests, send traveler verification links, support hosts and travelers, prevent abuse, monitor reliability, and improve direct booking experiences.
Selling Or Sharing Personal Information
ATA does not sell personal information. We do not share traveler or host contact details with advertisers or data brokers. We may share information with service providers, payment processors, hosting providers, analytics tools, and lodging partners only as needed to operate ATA, protect the service, complete requested workflows, or comply with law.
Agent And MCP Traffic
Public MCP search and read tools are rate-limited and logged for reliability, abuse prevention, and attribution. Inventory-holding booking actions require traveler verification or traveler-approved handoff before ATA creates booking holds, reservation requests, or payment steps.
Retention And Requests
We keep operational records for as long as reasonably needed for booking support, accounting, security, reliability, and legal compliance. Travelers and hosts can contact ATA to request access, correction, or deletion where available under applicable law.
