Cenote Ka’ax

Cenote Ka’ax is a small jungle stay near Akumal, on the Riviera Maya between Playa del Carmen and Tulum.

The property is built around a private natural cenote: limestone above, green water below, canopy overhead. It is a place to swim, sit, and let the day find its own pace.

Cabins are set among the trees, away from the coast road. King beds, natural materials, and windows onto the jungle. You wake with the trees outside, then walk down to the water. The same cenote holds a quiet swim or time with the people you came with.

Around the water there is room to stay the whole day. A thatched palapa marks the arrival. Paths run through the jungle. There is a table for a long breakfast or a meal after the swim, a bar, and a fire once the light drops. A timber chapel sits in a quieter corner of the property. On hosted stays, the grounds can also include training space, massage, ice, and temazcal. What is open on your dates is confirmed with the team before you travel.

Come for a cabin night between events, a day at the water, or the whole property for a private group or wedding.

A celebration here starts in the jungle and follows the light: ceremony, table, and evening around the fire, with cabins if you want people to stay on.

Ka’ax is reached from Cancún International Airport. Transfers are arranged separately unless they are part of your booking. Day access and cabin stays do not automatically include meals, activities, or every part of the property. Ask what is available for your dates, and tell the team about children, pets, or access needs before you set off.
